L’elegante alpinista inglese Beatrice Thomasson assieme alla guida alpina Arcangelo Siorpaes in una breve pausa durante l’ascesa verso il Becco di Mezzodì (una delle prime cime delle Dolomiti Ampezzane ad essere scalata, 2.603 m). Miss Thomasson, membro dell’Österreichischer Alpenverein dal 1893, diventa particolarmente famosa per le sue scalate su gran parte delle vette dolomitiche.

Miss on the mountaintop
The elegant English mountaineer Beatrice Thomasson with the mountain guide Arcangelo Siorpaes in a brief pause during the ascent to the Becco di Mezzodì (one of the first peaks in the Ampezzo Dolomites to be climbed, 2,603 m). Miss Thomasson, a member of the Österreichischer Alpenverein since 1893, became particularly famous for her climbs on most of the Dolomite peaks.
