La slitta è stata a lungo il mezzo di locomozione principale sulla neve, dove i piedi sprofondano e le ruote si incastrano. Oggi utilizzata per divertirsi o come pratica sportiva, ha per secoli consentito alle donne del Cadore di muoversi nel loro territorio e di trasportare le loro merci.

Moving on Snow
The sled has long been the primary means of transportation on snow, where feet sink and wheels get stuck. While today it’s used for fun or as a sport, for centuries it allowed the women of Cadore to move around their territory and transport their goods.
